This is to notify the general public and especially, candidates for the 2020/2020 May/June West African Senior School Certificate Examination, WASSCE for School Candidates (popularly known as WAEC) that their results can now be checked online.

To check the result, Candidates need to purchase the WAEC result checker or scratch card which cost N500 (five hundred naira only) from authorized dealers or any WAEC office nearest to them to be able to access their results.

2020 WAEC Results have been successfully uploaded online and it is accessible from the WAEC official result checking website – www.waecdirect.org

NOTE: WAEC 2020 result has not been released yet. The article is meant to keep you updated as soon as the result is announced.

How To Check WAEC Result 2020/2021 On waecdirect.org

1. Go to WAEC result checking portal by clicking www.waecdirect.org.
2. Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number.  (This is your 7-Digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number eg. 5292015298
3. Enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year i.e 2020
4. Select the Type of Examination  i.e. SCHOOL CANDIDATE RESULT
5. Enter the Card Serial Number found on the reverse side of your Scratch card.
6. Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch card
7. Click Submit and wait for the results window to come up

NOTE: You can only check your result 5 times with the scratch card that you purchase. Once you check it up to 5 fives, you will have to purchase another scratch card before you can check the result.

The gist here is that you should try to print out your WAEC 2020 result as soon as you check it.
